A section of Uxbridge Road in West Ealing has been sealed off after police say a pedestrian was injured in a road traffic collision with a van this Wednesday evening (15 November).

Police say, '' At approximately 17:10hrs on Wednesday, 15 November, officers on patrol in Ealing were made aware of a collision between a van and pedestrian on Uxbridge Road at the junction with Chignell Place.

''The pedestrian, believed to be in his 20s, was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital. He remains in a stable condition; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Road closures remain in place. Enquiries continue. the pedestrian has been taken to a central London hospital.''

The 4020 Broadway has been closed at Coldershaw Road and traffic has been at a standstill. Tailbacks are reaching as far as the Ironbridge.
