Do you want to you run 10k? A new training programme will help you do just that.

In conjunction with the National Trust at Osterley Park, the Ealing Half Marathon team are organising a 10 week training programme for runners leading up to the Osterley Park 10K which takes place on Saturday 20th June 2015.

The 45 minute sessions will initially run for 10 weeks from Tuesday 21st April, starting at 6pm by the steps of Osterley House and they will be delivered by qualified running coaches and leaders.

Isaac Rocke, Sport Development Officer at Osterley Park commented: “We are keen to build on the success of the Osterley Park 10K last year and to encourage new people to come running in our beautiful park in one of the largest open spaces in West London.

“We ran some initial beginners groups last year at Osterley Park and are keen to continue them in 2015. The sessions are designed for all abilities and will focus on running technique, core stability work as well as running. It’s such a beautiful setting and we’d love to see some new faces.”

Kelvin Walker, Coach and Race Director of the Osterley Park 10K and Ealing Half Marathon, said: “We are passionate about running and about getting new people into the sport, as well as support and help runners to step up to the next race distance. The Osterley Park 10K is set in beautiful surroundings and we are looking forward to welcoming runners of all levels.

“The Osterley Park 10K is also a great training race for the Ealing Half Marathon and other autumn half marathons.”
