Local residents protest over Council plans

The local community turned out on Saturday (2/03) to show support for Northfields Library - one of five Ealing library services currently under the threat of closure.

139 residents signed a petition organised by ward Councillors David Millican, Philip Taylor and Mark Reen.

Councillor Millican expressed the community disbelief that the facility could shut given that it has recently been rebuilt and is due to be incorporated into the new Children's Centre.

A series of meetings are due to take place over the next few weeks the one for Northfields Library will be
