Police are appealing for information to help trace the whereabouts of a 14-year-old girl. She was last spotted travelling on a bus towards Greenford and she has been known to frequent the Ealing area.

Ciara Richards (pictured right), was last seen at her current home address in Craneswater, Hayes at 9am on Tuesday, 26 April. She said that she was going to visit shops and the cinema with friends and would be home in the evening. At around 6.30pm she spoke to her carer and told her that she would be late but she has not been seen or heard from since.

Ciara is described as mixed race, approx 5'10" (1.75m) tall of slim build with short black hair, possibly shaved at the sides. She sometimes wears her hair in a small bun. She has brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a plain black headscarf, red cardigan, black top and black jeans. Ciara may have been wearing a red dress flower on her scarf. She is known to frequent the west London areas of Hounslow, Hillingdon and Ealing.

Police have received reports of a sighting of Ciara on the number 282 bus travelling towards Greenford on Thursday, 28 April. She was wearing a coloured headscarf, blue or black Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a dark hooded top and coloured plimsoles. Ciara was believed to be travelling with a black man, described as aged in his twenties.

Detective Inspector Steve Leonard from Uxbridge Police said: "I am appealing for Ciara to get in contact with ourselves or someone she knows, to let people know she is safe and well. Ciara - you are not in trouble, people are just genuinely worried about you and want to know that your OK."
