Greenford Hit and Run - Attempted Murder Charge

Man due to appear at the Old Bailey in June

A man from Greenford has been charged with attempted murder after another man was badly injured in a hit and run.

A 30-year-old Polish man was taken to hospital after an accident at the junction of Oldfield Lane North and Rugby Avenue, in Greenford, in the early hours of Monday, February 28. He remains in a critical but stable condition.

Andrew King, of Whitton Avenue, Greenford, was arrested on Wednesday (March 16) and charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of dangerous driving.

The 22-year-old has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on June 23.
