Two teams have been suspended from the Middlesex County League after violence flared at a game on Saturday.

Trouble started at the match between FC Syria and Al Amal All Stars at the Ealing Central Sports Ground, Perivale, after a row about a tackle.

The match was abandoned due to disturbance and assault on the pitch.

Police were called and arrived within minutes.

Four men aged between 21 - 40 years old were assaulted one of them seriously. Three men were arrested at the scene for assault and are currently on Police bail.
