A shop assistant at the Cudi supermarket on the Uxbridge Road has been stabbed after a row over prices.

Police say three men had been in the store on Monday night (17th) at 7.10pm and got into an argument over the cost of goods.

Police were called but the men had already left the scene.

As officers searched the area the men returned and stabbed the 34 year old shop assistant in the neck.

The man was taken to hospital - his injuries are not life threatening.

Police arrested all three men near to the scene - an officer was assaulted during the arrest.

All three suspects aged 26, 39, and 35 were taken to Acton Police Station.

Two men aged 26 and 35 have since been bailed to return to Acton on the 1/3/11 and the 15/2/1
