21-year-old man suffers fractured cheekbone in unprovoked assault
Police in Ealing are appeal for witness to an assault that took place on Leighton Road, Northfields last month. On Saturday, 11 June a 21-year-old was attacked at approximately 1am after he was approached two males, accompanied by three females. The two men assaulted the victim, leaving him with facial injuries including a fracture to his cheekbone. The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 18-years-old, around 6ft tall and was wearing a green and brown tracksuit and was on a bicycle. The second suspect is also a white male around the same age, with short dark hair and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark tracksuit bottoms. Detective Constable Cameron Jones, leading the investigation said, “This was an unprovoked attacked, where the victim suffered significant injuries. I urge anyone with information to come forward. I would welcome any dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident.” Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CRIS 2515608/22.
