The police are providing support to a woman in her twenties who has reported to them that she was raped in a park in West Ealing on Saturday evening (15 January).

They were called to the incident at Dean Gardens and have cordoned off the area while the investigating continues.

The woman told them that she did not know either of the men who attacked her.

Police at the gate of the park early on Sunday morning told people trying to enter the park to tell their friends not to try to enter the park. Other officers were reported to be searching for an item in the grass and the area around the exercise equipment was taped off as well as two of the entrances.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Enquiries are ongoing and a crime scene remains in place.

Anyone with information should callthe police on 101 quoting reference CAD 6100/15Jan.
