Two men in their twenties have been charged following a mass brawl in Southall.

Around thirty participants were reportedly using knives, bottles and at least one sword in a fight which was broken up by police in the early hours of Sunday morning (17 January) at around 2am.

There were no reports of any injuries.

22-year-old Sukwir Singh, of Norwood Gardens, Southall, has been charged with affray and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.

29-year-old Lakha Singh, also of Norwood Gardens, Southall faces the same charges.

They both appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday, 18 January where they were remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday, 15 February.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as enquiries continue.
