A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Hanwell this Monday (20 July).

The police say they were called to a residential property on Elfwine Road, W7 at 6pm to reports of a disturbance.

They found a man with serious head injuries at the scene and, despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead.

His next of kin have been informed.

The arrest was made the following day and the suspect remains in custody.
