The body of a man has been recovered from the river by Brent Lodge Park in Hanwell.

The emergency services were observed near the maze in the park on Sunday afternoon (28 June).

The police say they were called to the scene at 3.44pm and London Ambulance Service have confirmed that a man believed to be in his fifties was found but despite the best efforts of paramedics he was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been named.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
