A road traffic collision involving a moped took place this afternoon (28 November) on the Uxbridge Road in Hanwell.

A damaged motorbike was seen on the road near the roundabout at the junction with St. George’s Road and Church Road.

Eye-witnesses report seeing two youths being arrested. Emergency services including an ambulance and four police vehicles were at the scene.

Police officers were later seen inspecting a moped which appeared to have no registration plates.

The road wasn’t closed but there are significant delays to traffic around the area.

We have asked the Metropolitan Police for further details about the incident.
