Mr Heydari managed to drive his Mini car a short distance away towards West Ealing station before colliding with another vehicle.

Paramedics tried to save him but a post mortem showed that he had suffered a wound to the heart which would have inevitably have been fatal.

The jurors were told by the prosecution that the accused and Mr Heydari were both in a relationship with the same woman.

Ismail Yusuf has denied the charge of murder. His trial continues.
