Teenager Arrested in West Ealing Murder Case

An arrest has been made by officers investigating the murder of Mehran Heydari in West Ealing last month.

A 19-year-old man is currently being held in a north London police station after being detained on suspicion of murder this Monday (2 December).

26-year-old Mehran was found seriously injured in his car which had been involved in a collision just outside West Ealing train station at around 1.18am on Sunday, 24 November.

Despite the efforts of paramedics he was pronounced dead at the scene from stab wounds he had received earlier.

Detectives believe that Mehran was injured in an altercation at The Avenue, just 100 metres from the railway station where the Mini he was driving crashed.

His next of kin have been informed and the investigation is being led by homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.

A post-mortem examination held at Fulham Mortuary on Sunday, 24 November, found the cause of death to be a single stab wound to the heart.
