Two detained on suspicion of killing Serafima Meshaka

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder by detectives investigating the death of a woman in Ealing last month.

The men, aged 41 and 38, were detained on Wednesday, 9 October and both remain in custody.

The arrests form part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of 58-year-old company director Serafima Meshaka who died after suffering head injuries at her address in Haven Green Court, Ealing on Wednesday, 18 September.

The police were called to the flat at 1.17pm after concerns were raised about the well being of the occupant. Officers entered the premises and found the body, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A special post-mortem examination was held on Monday, 23 September; the cause of death was found to be head injuries.

Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating.
