A man has been been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Perivale.

Adrian Kompinski 23, of Rydal Crescent, Perivale was charged in the early hours of Saturday, 16 December, with the murder of a man in Bilton Road, Perivale on the evening of 10 December.


The victim has been formally identified as 23-year-old Patryk Jezmanski, a Polish national who lived in Perivale. He had been in the UK for two years, working as a labourer.

Kompinski was arrested in Edinburgh on Wednesday 13 December. He is also a Polish national.

He will appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court later on 16 December.

A post-mortem examination held at Fulham Mortuary on 12 December gave cause of death as haemorrhaging and a stab wound to the heart.

Officers from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command continue to investigate.

A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder in the early hours of 11 December has been released under investigation.
