An image has been released of a man police wish to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in South Ealing.

The attack took place shortly before am at Church Place on Saturday, 14 October. A 20-year-old woman told police that she was walking through South Ealing Road when a man approached her, dragged her into a grassy area and attacked her. She bit his hand and was able to get away running to a friend’s house nearby and called police. She was treated for minor injuries.

The suspect is described as being of middle-eastern appearance with short brown hair. He was around 5ft 8ins tall and wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He is also believed to have had a black puffa-style jacket.

Detective Sergeant Dan Langton from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command, said, “The victim was subjected to a terrifying attack by a stranger in the dead of night, and we need to catch the person responsible.

“We have released an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident. If you recognise him or you have any information about the incident, please call us."
