A 22-year-old man has been seriously injured after being stabbed the Boston Manor Road this Saturday morning (30 July).

Met Police officers along with paramedics were called to road at the junction with Swyncombe Avenue at 3.30am.

Initially the man's wounds were described as life-threatening injuries but his condition has since improved.

A male, believed to be in his twenties, has been arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

Officers remain on scene and enquiries are ongoing.

Road closures are currently in place.
