A CCTV still has been issued of a man who is believed to have drawn a gun outside Flynn’s pub in West Ealing.

The police were originally called to the pub on the junction of Walsingham Road and the Uxbridge Road, W13 at around 5.50pm on 7 January. There had been a report of a man being injured following a fight outside the premises. Those involved in the fight are not believed to have been drinking at the pub where a function was taking place. The police were told he had been assaulted by two Asian males but the victim did not wish to speak to the attending officers and left the scene.

Man Threatened With Gun Outside Flynn’s Pub

Later that evening at 7.30pm the police were called back after a report of the same man being threatened with a firearm. He has been chased off in the direction of Singapore Road by a man with a gun and possibly another man.

The man with the firearm was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat with a logo on the front, dark clothing and possibly a dark coloured body warmer. Other man was described as a black male, wearing a dark coloured tracksuit with a white stripe down the arms and legs. During both incidents a white hatchback car was seen in the area and police are keen to trace this vehicle.

By the time officers arrived all those involved had left. An examination of the area did not provide any evidence that shots had been fired.

DC Pete Adi from Ealing CID is leading the investigation. He said, "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of both incidents to come forward and speak to police".

"A function was being held inside Flynn's Public House and while it is not thought that those involved in the two incidents had attended the pub, someone inside may well have seen something that could assist the investigation."

"I am also keen to trace the occupants of the white hatchback car and also a cyclist who rode up Walsingham Road at the time of the second incident at around 19:30hrs."

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Adi at Ealing Police via 101 quoting ref: 2500580/16 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
