Appeal After Greenford Assault

Man returning from party attacked with metal bar

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Ridding Lane, Greenford, UB6.

On Sunday 12 May at approximately 4.20am, a 21 year old man was approached from behind by an unknown suspect and hit over the head with a metal bar. He had spent the evening at a nearby party and was on his way home.

He was taken to hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries. He has since been discharged.

Acting Detective Sergeant Mark Hunt said: "We are very keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident."
