68-year-old man dies on Christmas Day after being hit by a car

A man has died after being involved in a road traffic collision in Ealing.

68-year-old Alan Thomas was hit by a car shortly before 8.25pm on Sunday, 22 December.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition but died of his injuries on Christmas Day.

His family have been informed.

The driver stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. They would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam footage.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
