A male passenger on the pillion of a motorcycle has been taken to hospital after a collision on the Greenford Road this Friday morning (4 August).

The incident happened shortly before 9am and an air ambulance was called to the scene. The victim was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a stable condition; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The rider of the motorcycle had left the scene before police arrived. The other vehicle involved is believed to have been a supermarket delivery van.

Greenford Road was closed for several hours following the collision but has since reopened.

Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
