Man Dies After Being Hit By Lorry on Southall Broadway

Uxbridge Road closed for much of the day after collision

A man has died after being involved in a collision with a lorry in Southall this Monday (19 June) morning.

The collision took place on Southall Broadway near the junction with Avenue Road some time shortly before 8.55am. An air ambulance was called to the scene but the man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.

The police are not releasing further details about the incident at this stage.

The Uxbridge Road was closed between Lady Margaret Road and North Road until later in the afternoon causing substantial traffic delays in the area. It has since reopened.
