Back to Schools introductory page Harvington School Harvington School is a small non-denominational independent school for girls in a very central location (although it also takes a handful of boys between the ages of 3 and 5). It caters for children between the ages of 3 and 16. There are around 215 pupils at the school and fees are between £1,795 to £2,335 (Jan 2005). As might be expected in a small location, facilities are more than sufficient, though not as extensive as schools with enormous grounds. In 2006 58.2% of GCSEs taken were awarded A or A* grades. The school was last inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in March 2004, who said: "The small classes, the good teaching and learning, and the happy, welcoming, supportive atmosphere lead to good academic attainment and progress from pupils with a wide range of abilities and cultural backgrounds".
